Governing Board
The Twentynine Palms Water District is governed by a locally elected five member Board of Directors.
The Directors meet on the fourth Wednesday of every month to conduct Water business.
The Directors are directly accountable to the residents of the community, live in the community, and they pay the same water rates as all other customers.
Directors receive a stipend of $150 per meeting attended, not to exceed a total of more than 10 per month Ordinance 103. Directors do not receive medical or dental benefits, nor do they participate in the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS). For more information about Directors’ and staff compensation, visit the State Controller’s webpage at publicpay.ca.gov.
