Local Hazard Mitigation Plan

The District, with the help of Internal and External Committees, developed a Local Hazard Mitigation Plan to identify potential hazards to the District and formulate mitigation measures to ensure the future protection of the District’s infrastructure and the community’s safety in the event of a catastrophe.

The public was invited to comment on the plan during its development at the regularly scheduled Board meetings and by email to the District’s primary point of contact, Gary Sturdivan at: gsturdivan@me.com.

Agendas and Meeting Minutes for both the Internal and External meetings were posted to this page as they became available.

The plan was submitted to the State of California Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for review and was approved.
